Shoestring Ranch

July 2010 - News

In partnership with Slow Food Calgary, Shoestring Ranch is supplying our extra lean ground beef to be used for hamburgers being prepared by Slow Food Calgary partner chefs and restaurants to be sold at the Calgary Folk Music Festival on Friday July 23, 2010. Slow Food Calgary will have a booth set up preparing meals with ingredients supplied by local producers during the entire weekend. If you are going to be attending the Folk Music Festival stop by the booth and see what creations are being served up and help to support local agriculture.

We were very honoured to have been nominated by Slow Food Calgary to attend the Terra Madre conference and festival in Torino, Italy in October.  Terra Madre is a biennial festival and conference organized by the Italian government, the City of Turin and Slow Food.

Thank you for your support of our family farm and local agriculture.
